No account is required to place and pay for an order.

The checkout

You can check out without an account. Payment on that order is card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The homepage describes the checkout as usable without a login.

An account is for saving details, orders, invoices, addresses, tracking and payments. It is optional for a single purchase. It is not the same thing as TradePro.

What stays the same

Orders placed by 3pm are dispatched the same day, with or without an account. UK delivery is free on orders over £50 ex VAT. Stocked items can be returned within 14 days of purchase.

TradePro, for trade businesses, is the separate account that adds BACS and the trade discount, from 5% off up to 10% over £1,000 a month.
